Grandson of the founder and general manager of the restaurant, he’s spent practically his entire life in the business founded by his grandfather, he’s trained generations of waiters, sharing with them with a lifetime of experience in the restaurant business.
She started working in Paco Alcalde’s kitchen when she was just 11 years old. Today, she’s our head chef and the authentic flavours of our dishes are thanks to her lifelong experience. She belongs to a school of cooks of Barcelona that has practically disappeared in these modern times, where taste and daily good eats are increasingly hard to come by.
At 16 years old she came to work in the restaurant’s kitchen and today, she’s our main cook. She controls the quality of that unique flavour of our rices and paellas. Every time you take your seat at Paco Alcalde, you’re tasting dishes cooked by the talented hands of those who’ve spent many years in the trade.
He’s our assistant cook, an priceless human resource for our cooks, always alert, collaborating, and another member of our family.
Jamal was trained right here in our restaurant under the close care of Paco Alcalde himself. He’s responsible for taking care of our clients, making them feel comfortable from the first contact. Everyone who passes through our doors always remembers his friendliness and his smile.
The youngest member of our team and the fourth generation of the Alcalde name. He is in charge of providing a friendly service and continuing the restaurant’s service which opened its doors in La Barceloneta back in 1921.
