Paco Alcalde’s history begins in 1921
Whoever lives in Barcelona knows that to enjoy traditionally prepared seafood, in a familiar, relaxed environment, you have to come to Paco Alcalde. The history of Paco Alcalde begins in 1921, a restaurant that is now managed by the founder’s third family generation and which can proudly say that it has the honour of being one of the oldest and most traditional seafood restaurants in La Barceloneta.
Here, there’s still an air of simpler times. This is illustrated on the walls of our rooms, filled with photographs.
Decades of attention and good service have made Paco Alcalde an emblematic restaurant, making you feel at home, unpretentious, with fresh, seasonal ingredients and a menu specialised in traditional meats, paellas and seafood.
